Praying in the New Year

Mom
Mom looks like a different person.  Her weight, skin, and hair all look so much healthier.  And she is smiling regularly just because she feels better!  We praise God for what He has done and pray for those things that still need healing in mom.

March 26, 2012
We will be on US soil in the next two months.  Please pray for safe and on-time travel as Christina's Green Card will not wait very long for her after March.  Please also pray that we thoughtfully close and/or amend all necessary accounts in Korea.  As we've become students of the Korean systems they seem to make things more difficult than we'd like them to be for Christina after she receives her Green Card.

2012 Forecast
Our 2012 calendar is practically full, and mostly filled with transition related travel.  We have to go from Korea to DC to Daytona to Fort Collins to DC to Orlando and those are just the mandatory trips.  I also plan on introducing my bride to the family she has yet to meet.  Please pray for our transition back to US life and ministry.    Please also pray for us as later in the year we look for things like a car and home in Orlando.

Puzzle Prayers

Update on Mom:
Physically she is looking much better than she did before she went into the hospital. Pray for physical & spiritual healing.

The Green Card:
The Green Card has been approved! We just have to go get it. Pray for wisdom in deciding when exactly to leave Korea.

The Transition:
The more information we get the more difficult it seems it would be for us to stay in Korea for mom after March 2012. Pray for God's favor with the Korean and USA governments to do this inexpensively and well.

Athletes In Action Needs

1. The Olympics are coming back to Korea and athletics in Korea have
recently received a lot of press so now is a strategic timing to grow the sports ministry here.
2. Pray for the proper use of God's resources as we discover God's plans for how to use sports in a more effective way in Korea.
3. Pray for the 4 key campuses with "high level" athletes that we can focus on for developing a stronger sports ministry base in Korea and specifically in Seoul.

Family October

1. Pray for mom's salvation, health, and our family's overall health during this challenging time.
2. I start my second semester of Korean in October & Christina started higher level English classes already. Pray that my skills increase exponentially so that I reach Christina's English level sometime in the next few years.

3. We can see the end of the waiting. We "expect" to hear the good news about the green card being approved sometime next month. Please pray for all processes to flow smoothly until we have the card in hand.
4. With mom's health as it is, we are preparing to put our plan B into action in terms of returning to the States. Things are a little complicated because of the Green Card so we ask that you pray for Gods wisdom as we manage how best to move towards returning to the US.
